"Dance4Life means a lot to me. It has become part of my life and has given me the energy and skill to continue to raise awareness not only in my community but also out side my community it has given me a platform to speak on behalf of the voiceless children that are affected by HIV, it is sad that not much is been done when it come to access to better treatment but dance4life has given me the hope and strength to go on raising awareness and campaign and that some day hope is coming for people living with HIV in the world and especially Africa. It is a long road but it will be silly if we decide to give up we might not know how close we are. Lets continue the journey.

Schools  Dance4Life Schools Project / Youth Action Teams (YAT)

Youth Action Teams (YAT)
The Dance4Life Youth Action Teams are made up of 6-8 energetic and enthusiastic students and 2 members of the teaching staff. The YAT will be at the heart of the Dance4Life project within each school/ college.
Their role will involve:
Raising awareness of Dance4Life before the Tour Team visit
Helping the Tour Team on the day of the visit
Organising school awareness and fundraising activities
Spreading the word about Dance4Life to other students in the school
We are organising a Youth Action Team training day on the 18th September 2008 in London. The aim of the day will be to introduce Dance4Life, the role of the YAT, to give basic information of HIV and AIDS, and deliver a workhop on leaderhip skills.
