Dance4Life has programmes in Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania.
Egypt joined the Dance4Life movement in 2006 and is moving ahead at great speed! By the end of 2006, 21 schools were involved and around 6,000 young people attended the Dance4Life Event on 25th November. And the location? The Pyramids!
Kenya participated in the Dance4Life schools project, with about a couple of thousand young people involved!
In 2007 a new NCO, Africa Alive! came on board a
nd along with their partners Kwacha Afrika and Centre for the study of Adolescence (CSA) they have started Schools4Life in two major cities, Mombassa and Nairobi and will reach more than 4000 young people in ten schools.
Nigeria went into schools with their Skills4Life, and took part in a big Ford Foundation meeting in Abuja in November. The Ford Foundation, one of Dance4Life's Global Partners, held a meeting for all the organisations who receive grants from them, and they have asked Dance4Life to give a presentation, with some of the young people from Schools4Life dancing the Drill during the closing dinner. The purpose of the meeting is for the organisations to learn from each other and work more closely together. . 
Sierra Leone came and took part in the meeting of the Dance4Life African countries in South Africa in October, and they are working hard now on getting Schools4Life ready for 2008. More information to follow!
South Africa was an early adaptor of Dance4Life, along with Indonesia and The Netherlands. In 2004, Dance4Life South Africa was able to mobilise thousands of young people. In 2006 they were just as successful.
In 2007 the Schools Projects continue, with the Eastern Cape joining the KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape. In total 35 schools will hopefully participate, each with eight to ten workshops per school.
Tanzania There is a new NCO in Tanzania - Student Partnerships Worldwide, and they have already started Schools4Life in Chunya and Mbeya and in Dar es Salaam.
The Heart Connection Tour part of Schools4Life have started in a total of 30 schools, and following that Act4Life, with speech and essay writing competitions.
Uganda Dance4Life Uganda has been started up! They came and took part in the meeting of the Dance4Life African countries in South Africa in October, and they are working hard now on getting Schools4Life ready for 2008. More information to follow!
Zambia Dance4Life Zambia has been set up! They are putting everything together in the rest of 2007 in order to start Schools4Life in the new year. And they are receiving a visit from the President of Coca-Cola and the COO of Coca-Cola Africa, who want to see one of The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation's flagship projects - Dance4Life!
