"hiya everyone at dance4life, recently u visited my skl (stratton upper in bedfordshire)and i just wonted to say big thank u 4 such a fun tym and a reali great experience! we taught all our teachers and my dance teacher enjoyed learning it too ! and yeah awareness of hiv and aids has bein reaised thanx to you! i wouild just like to no how to get involved even more (spesh wen all the countries do the dance at the same tym) and is there anything i could do?"

Take part in a photo contest

Dance4Life invites you to enter a photo contest on what AIDS means to you and your communities. How does AIDS affect you as a young person? This contest is being sponsored by the Mexico YouthForce, who are a group promoting youth at the International AIDS conference in Mexico this August. And there are prizes!
Not only can you get your photos chosen to be shown at the Conference, but there are gift bags to be won as well. So be creative, and email us your photo(s) of how HIV and AIDS affects you as a young person.
For the rules, and how to submit the photos, please read this info page. Submit them by 28th May!

Successful Dance4Life Media meeting

On Thursday 13th March, Dance4Life UK held a successful Dance4Life media meeting in London. The aim of the meeting was to come together with specialists in the fields of media, event management, music, sound and advertising to discuss how Dance4Life UK could work together with them to reach out young people in the UK through the media.
Dance4Life International chaired the meeting, and it was kindly hosted by SSL International, a funding partner for Dance4Life.

Dance4Life UK delivers massive school workshop tour to 5,000

Once again, Dance4Life toured in several locations across the UK and Wales delivering a 90 minute interactive workshop in 30 different schools and reached over 5,000 young people! After the success of last year’s tour, the Dance4life tour team returned to some of the 2006 schools as well as going to new schools especially in the borough of Newham and Tower Hamlets in London where the HIV and AIDS rates are amongst the highest in the country.
