Dance4Life School Tour

"hiya everyone at dance4life, recently u visited my skl (stratton upper in bedfordshire)and i just wonted to say big thank u 4 such a fun tym and a reali great experience! we taught all our teachers and my dance teacher enjoyed learning it too ! and yeah awareness of hiv and aids has bein reaised thanx to you! i wouild just like to no how to get involved even more (spesh wen all the countries do the dance at the same tym) and is there anything i could do?"

NCOs

An NCO is a National Concept Owner. In every Dance4Life country the Dance4Life project is conducted by an NCO.

The partner in the UK is Students Partnership Worldwide. SPW is an international development charity that recruits and trains young adults (aged 18-28) as volunteer Peer Educators, to lead programmes addressing urgent health and environmental issues in Africa and Asia.

SPW’s belief:
We believe that trained young people, living for long periods of time in rural communities, are best placed to communicate life saving information and lead behaviour change programmes that bring about improved livelihoods for them and their families.

What SPW does:
SPW implements community level programmes lead by young adult volunteers that help tackle the underlying causes of poverty in disadvantaged rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
