Dance4Life School Tour

"hiya everyone at dance4life, recently u visited my skl (stratton upper in bedfordshire)and i just wonted to say big thank u 4 such a fun tym and a reali great experience! we taught all our teachers and my dance teacher enjoyed learning it too ! and yeah awareness of hiv and aids has bein reaised thanx to you! i wouild just like to no how to get involved even more (spesh wen all the countries do the dance at the same tym) and is there anything i could do?"

Dance4Life 2004

In 2004, during the first Dance4Life episode, thousands of school children in The Netherlands, South Africa and Indonesia participated. Via satellite, these countries were connected. Students from The Netherlands could watch those dancing in South Africa. Millions of viewers watched the television show that was dedicated to Dance4Life.

So much can happen in a single year! In January 2004, hardly anyone knew anything about Dance4Life. The following December, it was suddenly one of The Netherlands’ best-known charities. Spectacular!

Dozens of schools, tens of thousands of pupils, millions of viewers and readers from The Netherlands, South Africa and even from Indonesia got involved. Government authorities, media and the business community together donated millions of euro's.

In 2004 we built a solid foundation for an even greater, global Dance4Life movement. You can join too!
