As you know, dance4life workshops and skills4life sessions are all led by young people. When young people deliver sessions to people their own age, they’re described as being peer-led, or peer-to-peer.

Now dance4life is supporting a new campaign to introduce peer-to-peer sex education in schools around the country, and Channel 4 are involved too!

The Channel 4 programme Battlefront supports young campaigners to change the world. This year one of their campaigners, Shereece, is pushing for peer-led sex education to be recognised as part of the national curriculum. As she says, “It’s a way to get facts you need to protect yourself without the cringe…”

To support the campaign, all you have to do is go to bit.ly/d4lshereece where you can find out more and sign her petition.

And don’t forget to tell Rach that you’ve taken action. Email rach@restlessdevelopment.org, tell her on her Facebook or just use the form at the bottom of  the Taking Action page.
